By senior year, not so much

Not my senior year, I was in band up until the beginning of my Junior year

No

I was expelled April of my junior year for skipping (truancy)

Sure can!

11. Who was your favorite teacher?
Was Mr. L, until he called me and wanted me to come over and have sex with him two years after graduation

Trojan

13. Did you go to the Prom?
Yep, junior year two and senior year one (mine)

14. If you could go back, would you?
HELL NO!

15. What do you remember most about graduation?
I was sad that Grandma and Grandpa didn't get to see me graduate

I think I went to a few classes, then went home and slept

17. Did you have a job your senior year?
I was working at Nino's as a salad girl

Hmmm...probably McDonalds

19. Have you gained weight since then?
Oh boy, sure have

20. What did you do after high school?
Went to Upper Iowa University and got my BS in Human Service and a minor in Psychology, first working in the domestic violence field, now I work with people with disabilities

my first blog entry (no longer a virgin!) Current mood: tired

Ok, for the third time, I'm going to write this and hope I dont lose it AGAIN!

I LUV 80's hair metal, and am truely a child of the 80's. My song is Burning Like A Flame by Dokken. Every time I hear that song, it brings me back to being 14-15, and sneaking out the window to be with Steve. Those balmy Iowa night spent in the car (Horizon), windows down, music soft, the smell of Big Red and making out for HOURS. I thought we would last forever, who knew that forever at that age meant 9 months. I was so heartbroken when my Dad made us break up. And even though he though I got over him fast, he always was a spark in my heart. We saw each other a few times when I was 17. Then in May of 93' at that party, my heart skipped a beat when I saw him. Who knew 13 (almost 14) years later we would still me together? ME! I always knew we were destined for each other. I love you baby!

Something to believe in

Sometimes when you are having a really bad day, something happens that gives you goosebumps, makes you realize that there are still good people out there and makes you smile, even if it's just on the inside.

For the past few days, I have been EXAUSTED! I got up early this morning, went to WW, then came back home and slept for an hour. I dragged myself out of bed and went to work. I am off next week so I was really stressed out to get things done, even though I can't get EVERYTHING done. I got all I needed to get done and went home to get supper made and ate before going to Diane's to scrap.

Right before I left Steve started a fight and made me really mad. I got my shoes on, grabbed my purse and slammed the door. I tore out of the alley and started towards Diane's. I needed gas so I stopped at a gas station. I got gas and went into the store, grabbed a vanilla Frappuccino and went ot the counter. I gave the clerk my check and he asked for my ID, which I didn't have, and I didn't know where it was. He asked me if I knew my driver's license, ummm....that would be a no.

A guy came up behing me and put is Rock Star energy drink on the counter and said, "I can pay for it" to me. I thanked him and told him that it was okay. The clerk asked me if it was my current address. I assured him that it was and that I was in the phone book. He finally took my check. As I started walking out, I began tearing up.

I pulled into one of he the spaces in front of the store. I HAD to thank the guy that didn't know me and yet was willing to pay for my gas and drink. He came out and I rolled down my window and told him that I really appreciated that he was willling to do that and I was having a really crappy day. He told me I was welcome and that he hoped my day got better. WOW!!! Some guy I didn't even know went out of his way to try to make my day a little easier. I'll tell you what, he sure made it better, because I know that there are still people out there that care about other people. And that really touched my heart. I continued my drive crying because of his nice gesture. So stranger at The Music Station, thanks again from the bottom of my heart. And I hope to pass it on.
